Sabine Wiebers, born in 1969, brings over 25 years of expertise in conceiving and marketing real asset investments to her role. From 2016 to 2023, she served as a Portfolio Manager and authorized signatory for an Alternative Investment Fund Manager, as well as holding the same position for two fund companies. During her tenure as Product Manager at Hamburg-based issuing houses MPC Capital and Lloyd Fonds, Sabine contributed to the design of approximately 40 closed-end funds spanning German and international office, residential, specialist properties, ships, and renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Her responsibilities encompassed conception, marketing, prospecting, and communication.
Sabine Wiebers kick-started her career in press and public relations at the Berlin House of Representatives, later transitioning to corporate communications at a subsidiary of Bankgesellschaft Berlin. Holding degrees in German Literature and Philosophy from Hamburg and Constance, she also holds a degree in property management.
At Quarterdeck, Sabine focuses on structuring, conceptualizing, marketing, and selling investment opportunities. She serves as a trusted advisor to our investors and acts as the point of contact for asset managers and project developers seeking alternative financing options for their products.

Dr. Albrecht Gundermann, born in 1968, is a lawyer admitted to the Hamburg Bar Association. He serves as the Managing Partner of Quarterdeck GmbH & Co. KG, a company he founded in 2010, and is also the Co-Founder of OceanScore, established in 2020. OceanScore is a data-based platform that enables shipping companies to fulfil their emissions trading obligations. In 2012, Dr. Albrecht Gundermann founded EUROPEAN MAR Lda & Comandita in Madeira, serving as the exclusive agency of the Portuguese International Ship Registry, a role in which he continues to hold as Managing Partner.
Since 2003, Albrecht Gundermann has held management positions for various maritime companies. His professional career began in 1990 as a personal assistant to the Prime Minister of Saxony, Prof Dr Kurt Biedenkopf. He later served – for several years – assistant to the President of the Israeli Supreme Court, Prof Aharon Barak, before transitioning to the shipping department of a large German bank in 1999. Albrecht Gundermann studied law in Würzburg and Freiburg, graduating with a doctorate in Freiburg University.
Within Quarterdeck, Dr. Albrecht Gundermann plays a pivotal role in business development for shipping projects.

Dr. Guido Komatsu, born in 1967, boasts over two decades of experience in management roles within the realm of real asset investments. Holding positions as Managing Partner and Managing Director at two Hamburg-based Alternative Investment Fund Managers, he oversaw portfolio management, strategy formulation, and sales initiatives. In his capacity as Managing Director of Kairos Beratungsgesellschaft, he conducted evaluations and analyses of shipping companies, biogas plants, and office properties across Europe, catering to institutional investors.
Dr. Guido Komatsu embarked on his professional journey at the issuing house MPC Capital, where he spearheaded the establishment of an online trading platform for fund shares. Subsequently, he lent his expertise to three other companies, serving as the COO of the management firm Meridian 10, CEO of TradeOn AG, and CEO of Hesse Newman Zweitmarkt AG. In these roles, he was responsible for overseeing valuation and portfolio management departments, while also playing pivotal roles in developing trading platforms for the valuation and trading of fund shares. Additionally, he held positions as Managing Director at fund companies and served on the Supervisory Board and Advisory Board of various enterprises.
Educated in history, law, and philosophy at the University of Constance, Dr. Guido Komatsu completed his doctorate in legal history at the University of Göttingen.
At Quarterdeck, Dr. Guido Komatsu assumes a multifaceted role encompassing sales, financial modeling, structuring, conception, and business development. He serves as the primary contact for asset managers and project developers, facilitating the creation of innovative investment opportunities.

Jörg Molzahn, born in 1978, holds the titles of Captain AG and graduate engineer specializing in maritime transport. He serves as the Managing Partner of Quarterdeck and is also the Co-Founder of the successful startup OceanScore, a data-based platform developed in 2021 for shipping companies to determine their emissions trading obligations and ship scorings. Notably, OceanScore holds the exclusive partnership with Scope, Europe’s largest rating agency for the shipping sector. In 2012, Jörg Molzahn, alongside Dr. Albrecht Gundermann, founded EUROPEAN MAR Lda & Comandita in Madeira, the exclusive agency of the Portuguese International Ship Registry, of which he has been Managing Partner ever since. Previously, he was Managing Director of the German organisation and Senior Vice President of the US organisation of the International Ship Registry of Liberia.
Jörg Molzahn embarked on his professional journey as a nautical inspector for the shipping company Baco-Liner. He pursued his studies in Nautical Science and Maritime Transport in Elsfleth.
Within Quarterdeck, Jörg Molzahn spearheads initiatives for shipping and real estate projects, playing an integral role in business development endeavors.
